Guidance Office

Guidance Counselors assist students in many ways:

Help students to have a greater understanding of their graduation requirements and how to meet them
Available to provide guidance to students having academic problems in classes.
Help students in scheduling their classes.
Provide information about college entrance testing and administer the SAT/ACT.
Discuss future career planning with students and make career information available to them..
Assist students with personal and interpersonal concerns.
Provide students with referral agencies when appropriate.
Help with the college application process.
Meet with all juniors and parents for future planning.
Involved in planning and/or administering Michigan Merit Examination.
Consult with teachers on specific student concerns.
Consult with students on attendance issues.
