IMPORTANT: CCAHS STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO BE IN DRESS CODE MONDAY- THROUGH FRIDAY.   Procedure: Students will be given the opportunity to correct their dress attire by utilizing the (2) steps listed below:
  1.  Parents/Guardian will be contacted to either pick-up their son/daughter, or bring them the appropriate clothing or give son/daughter permission to go home and change.
  2. Students may exchange a personal item of value in return for CCAH shirt and/or pants, the loaned clothing must be retuned at the end of the school day at that time the student will receive their property. (A perfect fit is not guaranteed)

If a student is not able to correct their dress attire an alternative consequence will be given such as, assisting the janitorial staff, cleaning the school grounds etc, Students will not be allowed to attend class and will be counted as absent which will result in lost of credit in all scheduled classes, in addition students will serve a 20 minute after school detention the following day.

If a student does not respond to a request from school staff to correct their uniform (ex; tuck in shirt, remove colored undershirt, remove hoodie etc.) it will be considered insubordination and that student will receive 1-2 day suspension.

Note: Cesar Chavez Academy High School retains the right to modify dress code at any time when deemed necessary.  Reasonable effort will be made to notify parents and students.
